Another quote I love:
Regarding Mitsubishi ("All in the family" Economist 5/29/04 issue)
"These firms are nominally independent, but stay bound-financially, commercially and socially-in ways big and small... Group executives still get together on the second Friday of each month to reinforce their social ties. Even Mitsubishi's detractors share the group mentality, maintaining an overarching website for criticism: http://www.mitsubishisucks.com"

In other news...from Nikkei's wire (May 24, 2004 "Music Royalties Collected in FY 2003 Rise 3.2%):
"The royalty payment required for music played in video software reached 13,715,860,000 yen, increasing by 35.4% compared with the previous fiscal year.
The collected royalties on music distribution services to PCs and mobile phones via the Internet amounted to 13,803 million yen, up 4.2% from the year before.
On the other hand, royalties collected on the sale of music disks, including CDs continued on a downward trend, dropping by 8.4% from the preceding fiscal year to 28,276 million yen." The yen is about 110 to the US$.

Ross: I love Canada and I love blogs. It's all very very cool. Trust me.
Which reminds me, I saw a good T-shirt yesterday. All black with small white letters saying "Trust me. I do this all the time."
